The next book chosen for the Book Club will be "A gentleman in Moscow" by the author Amor Towles. His previous book read by the group was highly appreciated.
The new book is about the fictional Count Alexander Rostow, an unrepentant aristocrat who is held under house arrest by the Soviets at Hotel Metropole in Moscow for 30 years. He experiences Bolshevism, Stalin and the Cold War from a protected but ultimately vulnerable space.
The book is rated 4.8 (out of five) stars on Amazon.
